The EduTech Teachers Network (ETN) encourages teachers, school leaders, ICT coordinators, education administrators, learners, and education technology enthusiasts to participate in the WordPress in Education Showcase Luweero 2026, scheduled to take place on Friday 7th August 2026 at Janan Secondary School – Bombo Campus, Luweero District.

The WordPress in Education Showcase is an education technology event designed to celebrate creativity, innovation, and practical applications of digital technologies in solving challenges within schools and communities. The showcase brings together educators, learners, schools, technology practitioners, and members of the WordPress community to demonstrate how technology can be used to improve teaching, learning, communication, entrepreneurship, and community development.
The event will be held under the theme:
“Using Technology to Serve and Transform Society.”
Through this showcase, schools and learners will have an opportunity to present innovative WordPress-based projects, receive feedback from experts and peers, network with other innovators, and demonstrate how digital solutions can create meaningful impact.
The EduTech Teachers Network believes that educators play a critical role in preparing learners with digital skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and innovation mindsets required in the modern world. Participation in this showcase will provide teachers and learners with practical exposure to digital creation, website development, project-based learning, and the wider global WordPress ecosystem.
The showcase is open to secondary schools, vocational institutions, ICT clubs, teachers, learners, and innovators. Schools can participate either physically at the venue in Luweero or virtually through online presentation arrangements for those unable to travel.

The programme is being designed to serve beginners, experienced WordPress users, learners, educators, school administrators and technology professionals.

Participation in the WordPress in Education Showcase will enable educators and schools to:

PROJECT SUBMISSION OPPORTUNITY
Schools and innovators with WordPress projects are encouraged to submit their projects for showcasing and evaluation.
Projects may include:
- Educational websites.
- School information platforms.
- Digital learning resources.
- ICT club innovations.
- Community-focused technology solutions.
- Any creative use of WordPress to solve real-world problems.
