SUMMARY:EDUTECH TEACHERS NETWORK (ETN) WORKSHOP & STEAM CLUBS PROGRAM AT RWAMURUNGA COMMUNITY SS IN ISINGIRO DISTRICT SAT 22/11/2025 & SUN 23/11/2025
DESCRIPTION:EduTech Teachers Network (ETN) is an organization advancing efficient\, inclusive and sustainable use of education technology in teaching\, learning\, and school administration. Our mission is to build a professional community of educators – across primary schools\, secondary schools and tertiary institutions – equipped with the skills\, knowledge\, and support to integrate ICT for innovative and impactful competence-based pedagogy. \n\n\n\nWe are organizing a series of two-day programs across the country\, including a capacity development workshop for educators on day 1 and a skills empowerment seminar for learners through their ‘STEAM clubs’ (STEAM = science\, technology\, engineering\, arts and mathematics) on day 2\, as detailed in the program attached. The upcoming program will be held at Rwamurunga Community SS in Isingiro district – Kajaho  Oruchinga refugee camp along Kikagate road on Sat 22nd and Sun 23rd November\, 2025.  ETN will provide expert facilitators\, hands-on training\, edutech resources\, certificates for participants\, and post-training community support. \n\n\n\nThe workshop entry is free for ETN delegate members\, other educators contribute UGX 50\,000 towards meals\, internet\, materials\, certificates\, venue utilities\, and resources\, while learners contribute UGX 10\,000 for seminar resources refreshments and utilities\, but cater for own lunch. Easy to use\, customizable Sharebility report card software tools (v8) for nursery\, primary\, and secondary schools will be available at 50% subsidized rates.
